If you haven’t been to Mayfield Chocolates, we can honestly say you are missing out! Since we have opened, and being only just a short stroll from this boutique chocolate shop, we have found ourselves at their doorstep nearly every day – we can’t get enough! (It doesn’t help that our Principal, Sam, has a giant sweet tooth and a mild addiction to Chocolate!)
Each chocolate is hand made on site by the talented and passionate Mayfield chocolatiers, making almost all chocolates a world first. They’re not copies of existing chocolates you may have tried elsewhere, making a box of these bad boys the perfect gift for anyone, even that one friend with a discerning palate – winning! They have milk, white, dark, truffles, praline, alcoholic, non-alcoholic, florentines, ganache – you name it they have it! They even cater for vegan and lactose free diets.
Made from fresh cream or cocoa butter, and no vegetable fats, these little gems are creamy, smooth and don’t have that waxy residue some chocolates have. Oh and did I mention they are absolutelty irresistible?!
Now having tried MOST flavours, we can honestly say that this is hands down, some of the best chocolate we have ever tried. We always get exceptional, friendly service from the owner – Peter Ingall – and all of his staff.
